Anne Christie is a dedicated advocate for emotional healing drawing from her own journey through alcoholism, incest/childhood abuse, cutting/self-harm, prescription drug abuse, attempted suicide, domestic violence, narcissistic abuse, infidelity, divorce(s), assault, promiscuity, homelessness, exotic dancing, abandonment and rejection, PTSD, ADHD, anxiety, depression, a religious cult, shame, quilt, smoking cessation, and a heart attack survivor. The plot twist – most of her trauma stemmed from within her family and those who claimed to love her. How do we handle toxic relationships with close family members, such as grandparents, parents, siblings, or even children and grandchildren as well as spouses? Anne seeks to answer this question.
The Title Cutting Without A Razor ™
is very personal to Anne. As a young child, she was sexually molested by a family member. Through this traumatic experience, Anne learned to cut herself. Anne thought she put this behind her in her teenage years but later came to realize that, although she may have put down the razor, the reality was she was still cutting [without a razor] through various other toxic behaviors and choices.
In 2024
Anne finally began her journey to help others by starting Anne Christie LLC and Cutting Without A Razor ™ after more than 15 years of coming up with the title. Anne attitudes the time-waste on the 3 debilitating D’s – Denial, Delusion, and Dissociation. She will advocate for your Truth to make sure you do not get stuck and repeat this behavior.
Anne’s podcast combines her personal experience with understanding and practical tools and guides for addressing past trauma and the complexities of family. Her goal is to help individuals recognize and move past self-sabotaging behaviors, guiding them towards a healthier and more fulfilling life. Anne is a lover of Jesus Christ. Raised in a Christian home and Christian School that added to her trauma - she continues to work hard to separate those events from God's true character.
With a Master's Degree
in healthcare administration: law and policy, Anne is a passionate healthcare consultant specializing in revenue cycle management and patient advocacy. She plans to share her expertise on a YouTube channel to assist providers and patients with healthcare claims. Additionally, Anne is starting a new venture as an Amazon Influencer.
